加拿大政府聯邦移民局CIC 新政策將於 6/1正式實施
此政策是要為了增加國際學生更加選擇加拿大，延續高品質教育，同時吸引
高素質的國際學生選擇加拿大來學習，維護加拿大在國際教育的水平，並且
遏止不當國際學生濫用加拿大的簽證移民政策。

據溫哥華語言學校最新消息，6月1日一早，加拿大移民局公佈了6月
新政移民局認定的學校名單(Designated Learning Institution List）。此次
BC省共有266所高中以上院校被認定，而加拿大境內中小學校將自動
被認定。
從2014年6月1日起，來加拿大留學將面臨更嚴苛的選擇。新政策
規定，學生就讀學校有義務向移民局彙報學生就讀情況，移民局也
會抽查學生是否在校念書。無故不讀書者，最嚴重將面臨驅逐。不
讀書且長期居留加拿大的留學生需轉visitor簽證。此外，自2014年6
月1日起，在指定學校就讀的全職學生即使沒有工作簽證也可以工
作，並且一上學就可以工作而不用再等6個月。留學生應申請工卡
號才可以工作。在讀期間，每週工作最多20小時。而假期則可以
全職打工。留學生必須要保證在校念書才可以有資格工作。通常
，在念ESL或是預科課程的學生是不允許工作的。
